E-Mail Encryption Gateway

Sichere E-Mail Kommunikation ist ein zentrales Thema moderner Unternehmen. Mit Hilfe des E-Mail Encryption Gateway (EEGW) können ab sofort mit der Deutschen Telekom AG vertrauliche und verbindliche E-Mails sicher ausgetauscht werden. Alle Mitarbeiter der Deutschen Telekom können mit Hilfe des EEGW E-Mails verschlüsseln und zu jeder beliebigen internen oder externen E-Mail-Adresse senden oder von dort eine verschlüsselte E-Mail empfangen und entschlüsseln. Um eine einfache und dennoch sichere E-Mail-Kommunikation zu ermöglichen wurde das EEGW in die bestehende E-Mail Infrastruktur integriert. Das EEGW ermöglicht die verschlüsselte und/oder signierte E-Mail Kommunikation mit internen und externen Geschäftspartnern, unabhängig davon, ob bereits vorher ver- oder entschlüsselungsrelevante Informationen, wie Zertifikate oder öffentliche Schlüssel, ausgetauscht wurden. Das EEGW repräsentiert damit eine der innovativsten Secure Messaging-Lösungen.

Für Sie und Ihren Adressaten innerhalb der Deutschen Telekom Gruppe bedeutet das, dass Ihnen mit dem EEGW ein zukunftsweisendes Tool zur Verfügung steht, das ohne komplizierte, technische Voraussetzungen eine sichere E-Mail Kommunikation ermöglicht.

Das E-Mail Encryption Gateway stellt sicher, dass:
  • der Nachrichteninhalt geschützt und dessen Integrität durch Verwendung einer optionalen digitalen Signatur gewährleistet wird,
  • nach einer Registrierung auf verschlüsselte E-Mails auch ohne Zertifikate über eine SSL- abgesicherten Webanwendung oder Passwort geschützte PDFs zugegriffen werden kann,
  • eine verschlüsselte und/oder signierte E-Mail-Kommunikation mit den Sicherheitsstandards S/MIME oder PGP möglich ist.





E-Mail Encryption Gateway

Secure e-mail communication is of central concern in modern companies. With the service of the E-Mail Encryption Gateway (EEGW) confidential and mandatory e-mail communication is from now on available. The EEGW enables all employees of Deutsche Telekom to send encrypted e-mails to any internal or external e-mail address or to receive and to encrypt e-mails from there.

In order to enable secure e-mail communication the EEGW has been integrated into the existing e-mail infrastructure. The EEGW allows encrypted and/or signed e-mail communication with internal and external partners regardless of previously exchanged information for decryption, such as certificates or public keys. Therefore, the EEGW is one of the most innovative secure messaging services.

With the EEGW, a future-oriented tool is available for you and your recipients in the Deutsche Telekom group, which allows secure e-mail communication without complicated technological requirements.

The E-Mail Encryption Gateway ensures:
  • that the e-mail content is protected and its integrity is preserved by using an optional digital signature,
  • that after registration access to encrypted e-mails is granted without the requirement of any certificates and either by a SSL-secured web application or by password-protected PDFs,
  • that an encrypted and/or digitally signed e-mail communication on the basis of the security standards S/MIME or PGP is available.
