PKCS#11 modules for different operating systems (Windows®, Linux, and macOS) are provided for the TCOS 3.0 Signature Card V2.0 and TCOS 4.0 IDKey Cards.
For the advanced applications on the respective TCOS chip card, a P11Netkey module is provided, and for the SigG application on the Signature Card 2.0, a p11sigg module is provided.
The Windows Software Development Kit (SDK) includes source code examples for accessing TCOS chip cards. The example code is easily portable to other operating systems. Card reader connectivity is achieved via PCSC and PCSC lite.
Using the PKCS#11 modules, the TCOS 3.0 Signature Card V2.0 and TCOS 4.0 IDKey chip cards can be easily integrated into existing solutions from various manufacturers, such as Mozilla®, Adobe®, VeraCrypt®, Lotus Notes®, etc.

The TCOS Card Module is available in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. The TCOS Card Module integrates TCOS Smartcards into the Windows operating system via the Microsoft® Smartcard BaseCSP. The Microsoft® Smartcard BaseCSP requires a PCSC-compliant card reader connection.
For example, the TCOS 4.0 IDKey Card can be elegantly integrated into Microsoft® Identity Lifecycle Management and personalized through the TCOS Card Module. The driver libraries from Telekom as their software publisher, have been digitally signed by Microsoft® and are available from Windows® 7 onwards via Windowsupdate.com.
In environments where access to Windowsupdate.com is not permitted, the corresponding installation packages available in the download section can be used, which are also signed.
For the management of TCOS Smartcards, CardManager.net is available. It assists in managing certificates and PINs. With CardManager.net, the default PIN (chip card in delivery state) can be personalized with an individual PIN, and an existing PIN2 can be reassigned with a known sequence of digits to later use the PUK functionality of PIN2.
Additionally, CardManager.net displays detailed information about the chip card, such as card type, card number, PIN status, or available memory. We offer the software for Windows® 10 as both a standard and a portable version for installation on workstations where an installer cannot be run.
The TCOS SecureToken Driver integrates the TCOS Smartcard into the macOS operating system and provides the functionality of TCOS chip cards through the TCOS SecureToken Driver in applications such as Microsoft Office and ADOBE Reader.
TCOSNetkeyPlusTokenApp*.dmg supports the NetkeyPlus application on the TCOS 4.0 IDKey chip card.
