Minimum RSA key length according to ETSI TS 119 312

The Business.ID will change the requirements of ETSI TS 119 312 for the minimum key length by 30.09.2023 at the latest.

Important notes:

• According to ETSI TS 119 312, the encryption length for RSA must be greater than 3000 bits from December 2025.
• To ensure that we do not violate the requirements for the maximum terms, we have to change the key length before September 2023.
• The changeover basically affects all tenants/master domains and all certificate types
• For clients that only issue server certificates, you should already create and upload the request with 3072 as a test. In a year at the latest, we will also convert these clients to the default value.
